BRWA director, Maria Honeycutt refuses to meet with me - 4.5 years now - or respond to my e-mails. Why?
Because I oppose her fluoridation and poisoning of the 16,000 households she serves (EWG.org). Do not ever cook or drink the heavily chlorinated and fluoridated water that BRWA produces. Filter out the chloramines and fluoride with Alexapure gravity water filter, a shower filter, a home system filter that removes fluoride. Do something. The clean water BRWA produces may be free of microbes, but it's chock full of chemicals.
I have no idea if BRWA is able to remove PFAS chemicals, that saturate the state of NC:
Fluoridation has now been proven over and over and over to be carcinogenic, highly toxic to the human body, developing brains, and much more. Fluoride never prevented cavities. All of those studies were "boutique" and designed by the industry-controlled American Dental Association a long time ago. Fluoride is a major pharmaceutical ingredient - and the primary ingredient in Prozac. Fluoride dulls our thinking, and was used to produce docility in WWII concentration camp prisoners... which lowered the number of guards required.
Watch the documentary "Flouridegate: An American Tragedy" to learn what a devastating public health disaster this has been for us...
The recent federal court case against fluoridation, forced government scientists to admit they have allowed us to be poisoned by our government(s) with fluoride for decades. Florida and Utah have now enacted statewide bans, and our (questionable) RFK Jr. US HHS Secretary, has said that he would impose a national fluoridation ban... but like our Governor Josh Stein who said the same thing - he has done nothing.
I agree with Ms. Dance 100%. If Ms. Honeycutt can't follow the information I've provided her via e-mail and drop offs - and follow the simple process to get fluoride out of our already chemical laced "drinking" water... She needs intense supervision if she is going to tackle running a consolidated wastewater operation. Her refusal to be professional and meet with me, or respond to the volumes of information I have provided, says it all.
In 2021, the BRWA staff promised me a plant tour and a simple meeting with Ms. Hunnicutt. I had not mentioned fluoride at that point.
I appreciate being able to do public comments at meetings, but public comments are only a one way communication opportunity, and largely ignored until dozens of people are saying the same thing.
The three minute public comment limit is logistically practical, but it doesn't give the taxpayer any way to achieve a real exchange of views and information. We don't know why our information is ignored because we are not allowed to ask questions during the comment period. Am I wrong about that?
I want to actually discuss with these various officials face to face. I want them to read the material I provide before we have that conversation. I want a real exchange of information, where the official can be held accountable for information they have been given.

Very interesting thanks for sharing. According to their website they do have public comment at their meetings.
