New police Chaplain welcomed in Lake Lure

The Lake Lure Police Department said today they have a new Chaplain, Kevin Anderson.
Anderson has been the Pastor of Fairfield Chapel in Lake Lure for the past three years. He also served in the United States Navy for 28 years.
“We are blessed to have him join us,” the department said in a Facebook post.
The department is currently looking to hire a police officer. Apply on the town website.
